Newsletter 14 - 15th December 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

Here we are at the last newsletter of 2023.

It has  been a very busy last couple of weeks of term. Thank you for all your contributions to events and  the Fair. And thank you for your support in all we strive to do.

We were very happy to present the Holy Trinity Church Foodbank with a cheque for £650 from your generous donations after performances. Thank you!

Yesterday we said goodbye to Mrs Free who has worked at the school for 7 years. Thank you for making a difference for the children you have worked with Mrs Free – we will miss you.

On behalf of all the staff, I extend my thanks for your thoughtfulness. As always, you have been exceptionally generous with cards and gifts for staff – this is very much appreciated.

We return to school on 4th January.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

Mrs Griffith

Change to Menu - Thursday 4th January

Just a quick note to say that the menu choices on the first day back will be chicken nuggets, vegetable nuggets or jacket potato.  This is different to the published menu.

Library Volunteers Needed

We're looking for a volunteer who would like to open the school library to children on a Monday lunchtime.  Might this be you?  Please contact the school office if you'd like to know more.

Thank you!

As well as raising £650 for the Holy Trinity Church Foodbank at our Christmas Nativities and Services, you raised over £360 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal - the organiser passes on their thanks.

School Clubs

Please book your club places well in advance so that our providers can let us know who will be attending.  Same day bookings cause a lot of confusion in school not least for the children!

All clubs start w/c 8th January and the last week of clubs is w/c 18th March.  Please see the website here for more details and how to book.

New spaces have opened up for Guitar from Y2 - Y6. Please contact Rachel Holden directly on rachholdenguitar@gmail.com if you'd like to book a trial lesson.
