Newsletter 13 - 9th December 2022

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have some exciting news – Miss Wallbanks has had a baby girl! Huge congratulations to Miss Wallbanks and her family.

We’ve had another productive and busy week in school.

Film Night on Tuesday was really well attended – thank you to all the teachers for giving their time to make this happen.

The choir entertained the residents at Dormy House on Thursday and Mrs Barnes was very proud of you all. Well done choir!

Then we had the delight of the Reception Class Nativity. They were wonderful and I know that all the family members who came thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Lots of big smiles and even a few happy tears! A huge well done to all the children, Mrs Tomes, Miss Winfield and Mrs Bennett. Take a look at the photos here.

Next Week...

It is going to continue to be very cold so please make sure the children have a warm coat at the very least!

Enjoy the weekend,

Mrs Griffith

Choir Trip to Dormy House

The Year 5/6 choir were invited to sing for the residents at Dormy House on Thursday and their Christmas repertoire was just beautiful.  Mrs Barnes was indeed very proud of you all.  The residents and staff enjoyed their performance and wanted an encore!  It was such a lovely way to start the Christmas season within our local community.  A huge thank you to our Governors - Mr Fettes and Mr Aherne who helped supervise the walk to Dormy House from school.
