Newsletter 35 - 19th June 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful staff. They have been so dedicated to our school and your children during this crisis and many of you may not be aware of just how dedicated they’ve been.
They have been working with the key worker bubble since the day we were directed to close. This included Bank Holidays and Easter Holidays. They have taken weekly food parcels to families. They have phoned and kept in contact with families throughout this time who may have children shielding or who are going through tough times. They have continued to provide on-line learning on Class Pages. They have delivered books, work packs, printed worksheets and personalised learning packs to children that need it. They have sought help for families that find themselves in need of financial support at the moment.
This is alongside looking after their own families. They have had to cope with bereavement and family illnesses. They are not able to visit their extended family members (even for a garden visit) as they know that working in school means they could put their family at risk.  They leave their own children at home to come in to school.
So a huge ‘Thank You’ Holy Trinity staff, for all that you are doing. We’re so lucky to have you.

Key Worker Bubble

Our key worker bubble had lots of fun on Tuesday making up stories with moving pictures. We learnt how to make our pictures move with sliders, pivots and wheel mechanisms!

Year 1 Return to School

Last week we welcomed back lots of the children in year one.
They had a lovely two days with lots of smiles, catching up, learning, playing and having fun.

The children have been brilliant at social distancing and were really excited to have their own tray and table.

PTA Recipe Book

Hello everyone!
We hope you're all keeping well.
A pupil in Year 4 has suggested a lovely fundraising idea for the PTA. As many of you have been baking over lockdown we thought we could collate the recipes and put together a Holy Trinity Lockdown Recipe E-Book which will be available to purchase via Parentpay at a cost of £5.
If you could please email your recipes to htpta@outlook.com, along with a picture (this can include a picture of your child if you consent to them appearing in the “Book”) we would be grateful.
Thank you for your support.
