Newsletter 27 - 31st March 2021

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had an exciting and fun end to the term with our Rock Star MUFTI and Eggsersize Easter Egg Hunt today. Lovely to see the big smiles and cool rock outfits this morning!

A huge thank you to the PTA for providing the Easter Eggs and to those parents who have provided different eggs for their children with dietary needs.

The Rock Star outfits (and hair!) have been wonderful! Well done to all the classes for their efforts on the Times Tables Rock Stars Challenge. We are pleased to be able to announce that the class with most coins and therefore winning a free MUFTI day on Friday 23rd April is Year 6!  It was very close - thank you so much for encouraging your children to take part, whilst practising their times tables.

Thank you to Miss Cullen, our Maths Leader, for organising this event.

We return to school on Monday 19th April in summer uniform. Class teachers will let you know via the Class Page on our website which days your child has PE and needs to be in their PE kit for the day.

We wish you all a wonderful Easter Holiday – family time without any remote learning!

Mrs Griffith

Rock Star Mufti Day

Thank you for all your contributions to the PTA Rock Star Mufti Day.  We thought you might like to see some pictures...

Year 3 - Magnificent Magnets

Class 3 were tasked to design and build a magnet game for Class 3's science fair.  The scientists were hard at work designing racetracks, go fishing, mazes, magnet monopoly and a Starwar's extravaganza.  We used our knowledge of this invisible force to demonstrate how some materials are magnetic,  Using the North and South pole to attract or repel to dodge the obstacles.  Magnets are LOTS of fun -  Here are some photos of us in action.

Year 4 Ravenous Readers

Here are this week's Ravenous Readers including Charan who enjoyed The Great Chocoplot and Hristiana who enjoyed Stuart Little!

Year 5 Bikeability

Reminder for Year 5 to sign up to Bikeability.  Payment of £5 due by cash or cheque payable to RBWM please, due straight after the holidays.
