Dear Parents and Carers,
Christmas Fair
What a great success! A huge thank you and well done to the PTA Team for organising. An amazing £4,700 was raised to go towards refurbishing our library – thank you for your support and generosity! What pleased me the most were the children’s smiles as they got stuck into the activities. The choir were wonderful (thank you to Miss Wallbanks too) and Year 6 did a fabulous job of running their stalls.
Thank you to the staff team for supporting too; especially Mrs Hill, Mrs Poulter and Mrs Lawson.
School Dinners
The charge is increasing slightly from January 2025 to £2.75 per meal.
Sunningdale Lights
The choir will be singing this evening from 4.15pm at the lights switch on in the park – we’d love to see you there!
Film Night
If you’d like to sign your child up to join Film Night, please do so via ParentPay once the payment is live. The children have voted for their choice of film and the winning choices are:
KS1: The Grinch
KS2: Home Alone 2
Please note that Home Alone 2 is a PG so by signing your child up to attend, you agree for them to watch the film.
Reception class will watch a film of Mrs Tomes’ choice.
The children will be getting a juice drink and a packet of crisps during the film.
You can collect your child from their classroom door in the usual way at 4.15pm on Thursday 5th December.
Reception Class Nativity Performance
Parents are welcome to join us at 9.15am on Friday 13th December.
The performance will be in the school hall so you can drop your child to school then join us in the hall via the back door on Church Road.
There will be a collection for Sunningdale Food Bank should you wish to donate cash on the day.
Please do look at the school calendar for other dates of Christmas events.
Enjoy the weekend,
Mrs Griffith

PTA Christmas Fair News!
We are thrilled to share some fantastic news – our Christmas Fair raised an incredible £4,700 profit for the school!
This amazing achievement is a testament to the wonderful sense of community we have here in Sunningdale. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success – from organising stalls & donating prizes to baking treats and setting up decorations. We’re also so grateful to all the families who came along to join the festive fun and support the school.
An extra special thank you to our class reps as without them none of this would have been possible. The funds raised will go directly towards a number of projects that have been identified by school, ensuring our children benefit directly from your generosity.
Thank you once again for your incredible support. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Holy Trinity Church - Your Foodbank Donations
The Spiritual Leaders would like to thank you for your generosity in providing some lovely treats to the Foodbank this Christmas time. Our next appeal will be at Easter.
Poppy Appeal
The Royal British Legion would also like to thank you for raising £351 for this years Poppy Appeal. A fantastic amount.
Holy Trinity Church - Join us for our Contemporary Service this Sunday
Do join us this week as the first Sunday of each month will be a service of contemporary worship at Holy Trinity, which is deliberately family friendly with provision for children during the service. Occasionally there will be a Communion service using familiar liturgy but with a lighter touch. The music at this service will be modern worship songs with the occasional dip into the rich worshipping history of the past. In this relaxed atmosphere we shall allow the friendship and conversation we have to be as important as the times of reverence and silence so that our young people feel as much a part of the church family as adults do.
