Volunteers In School
Our school welcomes and encourages parents and carers to come into school and work with the children or support the staff in achieving jobs in and around the school.
Parents often volunteer to help with the school library, maintain the school grounds, read with children and help with school outings.
This is a fantastic opportunity to see how the school works on a day to day basis and experience the school ethos, education standards and high behaviour expectations.
The school is highly supportive and committed to the safeguarding of pupils. All regular volunteers are required to have a DBS check, sign in our code of conduct book and receive an induction pack on behaviour expectations and safeguarding arrangements. This is to ensure the safety of all the children in our school and build consistent and professional relationships with our parents and carers.
If you would like to become a volunteer, please speak to the class teacher in the first instance.
Many thanks to those who do offer their time and commitment.
