Dear Parents and Carers,
What a wonderful Sports Day!
Well done to all the children – we know how nerve-racking/exciting this is for you. We hope you and your families enjoyed the day too.
A huge thank you to the staff for preparing the children and planning and organising the day. And weren’t our Y6 House Captains brilliant? Well done to them too.
Meet The Teacher
As mentioned in previous newsletter, you are invited to come along and meet you child’s next class teacher. This will be on Tuesday 7th July 2.45pm or 3.20pm. These meetings will take place in your child’s new classroom. If you’re unsure where that is, please ask your child to show you before Tuesday or ask a member of staff.
Charters Open Evening
If your child will be in Y5 from September, Charters are inviting you to take a look around on Thursday 9th July 5 – 7.30pm.
Last Week of Clubs
Please note that next week is the last week of all after school and before school clubs such as art, football etc.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Griffith
Holy Trinity Food Bank
Contributions to the food bank collection box in school reception are very welcome. These are for the Holy Trinity Church Food Bank which is open to our community without referral and we would love to have one last drive before the summer holidays to help see families through. Non perishable foods, non foods (including toilet rolls, tissues etc) and treats are all welcome. Just pop them in to the box inside school reception door. Many thanks!

RBWM School Travel Survey
The Council are conducting a borough wide survey of schools to get a better understanding of the impact of school traffic and barriers that parents/guardians face on the school run. We would be very grateful if you could take a moment to fill out this survey and tell us your views on traffic outside your school and your school route.
SEND Reform Event in RBWM
Find out more and have your say
SEND Voices RBWM will be joined by staff from AfC to explain the SEND Reform and how it will be implemented in RBWM.
Have Your Say on SEND in RBWM.
Shape the future of SEND support for your child.
You're Invited: Parent Carer Engagement Session.
In person Monday 6th July (10am-12pm) at Fredericks ( with pastries!) and online Thursday 9th July (7pm-8.30pm) - see flyers below.
These sessions are your opportunity to:
• Understand how the RBWM 5 Year SEND Strategy is being developed
• Ask questions directly to RBWM's convening partner, Achieving for Children, about the plan
• Share your priorities to shape how SEND services are delivered in our area.
We'll walk through each of the 6 Priority Areas of the RBWM SEND Strategy:
• Where we are now — the current strategy
• Where we're going — how the Local Plan builds on this
• Your voice — what matters most to you and your family.
All Parent Carers Welcome. We especially want to hear from families who may not always have
the chance to share their views, including those with children in Elective Home Education (EHE)
