Newsletter 8 - 25th October 2024

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for all your donations towards MUFTI day today – the children looked wonderful and certainly enjoyed their day!

We have received a charity donation from the Rotary Club to purchase outdoor resources for Year 1. This is great news and will be put to very good use.

Culture Week

It has been such an interesting and informative week with various pupils and parents sharing and celebrating their culture with us all. So, thank you for the food, costumes and special possessions that have been shared – we have learnt a lot and it has been wonderful to celebrate with you!

Children In Need

School Council and the Spiritual Leaders have planned a fund-raiser for Children in Need. They have voted on a Pyjama Day when your child can wear their PJs, bring in a teddy and have squash in their water bottles. This will be on Friday 8th November and the suggested donation is £1.

Top Tips

This week’s advice is all about YouTube.

INSET day

We have an INSET day on Monday 4th November and the children will return on Tuesday 5th November.

We hope you all enjoy your half term and stay safe,

Mrs Griffith

Head Lice - How About Some Half term Bug Busting?

After a haitus of sorts, the bugs are back across school.  Please spend some time bug busting over the half term holidays.  That's combing hair through thoroughly with conditioner and a nit comb.  From experience, you might be surprised what you find!  Head lice are expert at hiding and often cause no itching at all.  NHS advice is available here.
