Newsletter 22 - 28th February 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

Our vision is for our pupils to flourish in an inclusive and inspirational place of learning where we are happy, respectful, kind and safe.

Isn’t it wonderful to see the sun?!

We hope you all enjoyed your half term. The children have certainly returned to school refreshed and ready to learn.

Class Assembly

A huge congratulations to Year 5 and Mrs Pinkerton for a fabulous Class Assembly yesterday morning. Thank you to those who were able to join us – the children showcased their learning beautifully. It is Year 6’s turn next Thursday at 9am.

World Book Day

We’re celebrating this on Friday 7th March. The children are invited to come in to school dressed as a character from their favourite book or a word. The PTA are running a Book Sale for 50p a book so please send in books to donate and money for the children to buy a book. The PTA have also provided every child with a wooden spoon that they will decorate as a book character.  This is usually a day full of fun and a great celebration of the wonderful world of books!

Ascot Art Competition

It is the time of year once again where we invite the children to create a piece of art to represent Royal Ascot. The children can access the proforma to print onto paper and create their art. See Year 1 Class Page for an example and the proforma. We have been very proud to celebrate Holy Trinity winners of the competition in the past so we hope to be able to do so once again!

Please make sure all art works are in school by Thursday 6th March - thank you!

Fin’s Fundraising Magic Show

Fin raised a total of £90 for the school library! Well done and thank you Fin!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend,

Mrs Griffith

Gardening Club - Royal Windsor Flower Show Launch

I had the privilege to attend the Royal Windsor Flower Show Launch Party on Wednesday evening where Mrs Patel and Mrs Drewitt were invited to present Holy Trinity's Allotment and Gardening Club to its members.  The passion and joy of both parents were truly inspirational and the Gardening Club video was a huge hit with the members deeming us to be a beacon school, educating the next generation of horticulturists.  Well done ladies,  I couldn't have been more proud - thank you for living our vision.

Please click here to see a video of Gardening Club which was presented at the Launch Party - the video will be available on this link for 4 more days.

The Royal Windsor Flower Show is on 7th June 2025 and we look forward to Reception class working with Little Muddy Boots growing potatoes and creating our entry into the Wheelbarrow Competition.
