A huge well done to all the Y6 pupils for their wonderful performances on Wednesday and Thursday evening. A great time was had by all. Years 4 and Year 5 did a great job supporting too.  So much work goes into putting on such a great performance so a big thank you to all the children for learning their parts, and to the staff involved in preparing the children so well.  We are so lucky to have such a wonderful and dedicated team at Holy Trinity.

Good Luck and Good Bye

To all our Year 6 pupils. You are all superstars and it has been such a privilege to see how much you’ve grown and achieved in your time at primary school. Every single one of you has made a difference to our Holy Trinity Family and you will be missed.  We wish you all the luck in the world as you move on to your secondary schools;  we hope you continue to live our vision of being happy and doing good while you live.  We’d also like to wish other pupils and families that are moving on a smooth transition into your new schools – we wish you every happiness on your next adventures!

We also say our goodbyes to the following staff and thank them all very much for their long service, dedication and commitment to the Holy Trinity Family:  Mrs Hunt, Mrs Puckett and Ms Reader.  Saying goodbye is never easy and we wish you all the very best on your next adventures – you will be missed!

We also say goodbye to Mrs Sedour and thank her for all that she has done for the children and families of Holy Trinity.

School Games Mark – Gold Award

It is with great pleasure that we can announce our achievement in being awarded the School Games Mark – Gold Award.  This is the first time we have been awarded Gold and it is a culmination of all our clubs, PE lessons and competitions.  We would like to thank the children (especially Year 6 children), parents, Miss Harding and all other staff who have supported the events throughout the year.  Well done on such a fantastic achievement!

So, all that remains is for me to wish you all a very relaxing, safe and happy summer holiday when it finally arrives on Wednesday 24th July at 1:30pm.

We look forward to welcoming you all back to school on Wednesday 4th September in winter uniform.

Change to Lunch Menu - Wednesday 24th July

There will be a change to the published menu on the last day of term.  The options will be Battered Fish, Cheese and Onion Puff, Jacket Potato and Grab Bags.

Science Day

The wow of Science came to Holy Trinity last Wednesday as we celebrated all things Science as a school. The children enjoyed a day of enquiring, experimenting, testing, researching, observing, recording and making conclusions.

The variety of activities were endless - making slime, seeing how soap works, bubble making, planting sunflowers, making lava lamps, making raisins dance, exploding volcanoes, researching space,  programming the BBC: microbits and much more!

A big thank you to Luke and Jacob’s dad, Mr Zeeb for presenting two workshops on Space travel and Newton's 3 laws of motion, ending in a live water rocket demonstration. Also, to Finley’s Mum, Dr Manning from Royal Hollaway, for demonstrating Newton’s forces and what would affect how far our rockets would fly.

Holy Trinity Choir Perform at Lynwood Care Home

On the 12th July the choir sang at Lynwood Care Home.  We walked for the trip there and back because it wasn't far away.  We sang four songs called Happy, This is Me, One World and A Million Dreams.  The residents favourite song was 'Happy' because they clapped along.  I saw Judy, she's my Nanna J.  I loved it.  At the end we had cup cakes and fruit juice.  It was so good!
