Newsletter 23 - 6th March 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

Well done to Year 5 for their Class Assembly this week. Year 3 Class Assembly is next Thursday 12th March at 9am. Y3 families are welcome to join us from the back of the hall door.

Parent Workshop

You are invited to join our Educational Psychologist, Dr Jo Slifi, 8.45 - 10am on Monday 9th March. If you'd like to come along to the back of the hall door and join us to find out more about how to support your child with their emotions and build resilience, then please book your place here.

Parents Consultation Meetings with Class Teachers

You should have received an email prompting you to book a 10-minute slot with your child's teacher on either Wednesday 25th March or Thursday 26th March.

The meetings will take place in the school hall - please come to the back of the hall door.

You will have a chance to look through your child's work books as well.

Neurodiversity Week

Year 6 will be selling fidget toys at the end of the school day during the w/c 16th March to celebrate and raise awareness of neurodiversity. The toys can be purchased and used at home.

Uniform

Please make sure your child is only wearing stud earrings if they have to wear them. Also that any hair accessories are green/natural hair colour.

School shoes must be worn on days that your child does not have PE; please make sure your child has a suitable pair of black school shoes.

After Easter the children can choose to wear Summer Uniform.

Lateness

If you are late, you will now have to give the reason for your lateness to the office staff for our attendance records.

Year 5 Greatest Showman

A group of Year 5 pupils produced a show for the rest of the school and raised money for Cancer Research and Transforming Trinity. They did a great job! If you would like to donate please pop into the office.

Enjoy the weekend,

Mrs Griffith

Holy Trinity Lionesses!

On Monday, our Year 5 & 6 girls football team took part in a tournament playing seven teams from St. Michael’s, St. Francis, South Ascot Village School and Warfield. They won five games, drew one and lost one in the group stage, leaving them in the top four. They played a nail-biting semi-final against Warfield, drawing 1-1 and forcing a golden goal. Warfield went on to win the competition. The girls played extremely well as a team, scored some amazing goals and performed match-winning saves too.  They were a pleasure to take. Well done girls! Thank you to all parents who were able to support.

Book Fair Bonanza

A huge thank you to everyone who spent money at the book fair last week. You helped to raise £500 worth of Scholastic rewards for us to spend on books for the school. Thank you also to the parents who were able to help out. We hope your children have enjoyed reading all those new books!
