Newsletter 11 - 25th November 2022

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are so looking forward to our Christmas Fair tomorrow. I’d like to extend a huge thank you for all your generous donations of bottles, sweets, hamper gifts, Secret Room gifts and so many more!

Another thank you goes to all parents who have given so much of their time to organising and arranging stalls.

All of this goes such a long way to living out our vision of ‘being happy and doing good’. I know the children are very happy to be able to have a Christmas Fair again!

We’ve had a busy week in school with Mission to Mars workshops (STEM Workshops) in Key Stage 2, Food Workshops in Y2 and Y5. Y6 also enjoyed watching the drama production of Private Peaceful at Charters.  Do take a look at the class pages to find out more!

I look forward to seeing you at the fair tomorrow (11am – 2.30pm).

Mrs Griffith

Class 3 – Buster for working really hard on his handwriting and the presentation of his work.

Class 4 – Mia for completing her homework to a high standard.

Class 5 – Ben for the care that he always puts into his presentation whatever the task.

Class 6 – Benoit for consistently applying himself to his learning and striving for his best.

House of the Week
The House with the most house points this week is Water! Well done Water!

Football Success!

On Thursday after school a team of year 5 & 6 girls took part in a very soggy football match against St. Michael’s. As the rain hammered down, the girls played brilliantly. The final score was 7 – 1. Well done to all the girls and thank you to the parents who were able to attend and to Miss Harding for organising and attending the match as well. We hope everyone has now dried out!

Food Tech Workshops

Years 2 and 5 really enjoyed their Food Tech workshops this week.  Wilson Jones who produce our school meals provided everything and delivered the workshops in expert fashion!
