Fantastic Football

Holy Trinity took part in their first football matches of the year against St. Michael’s on Thursday after school. We fielded two Year 5 and 6 teams: one won their match 4-1 and the other drew theirs 1-1. There were some stunning shots and saves! Congratulations to the goal scorers: James, Ollie, Jude and Luke Z. All the boys were great ambassadors for Holy Trinity. A big thank you to the parents who came to watch, Miss Harding for attending and to Mr Fettes, Mr McClure and Mr Nicoll who helped to coach and manage the teams. Well done to all the boys: Jude, Luke Z, Xander, Keiron, Fin, Samuel, Jack, Ayden, James, Kaleb, Ben, Josh, Ollie, Thomas, Luke B, Sam and Barnaby - you were fantastic!

Ticks

We live in a tick area and even though it's coming close to the end of the tick season they are still around and about.  Please see the NHS website here for more information here.

Local Poetry Competition

Quince Players are launching a nursery rhyme competition, in support of BA BA LAND, the new pantomime coming to Sunninghill!

Written and published by local authors, David & Fiona Barker, the premiere performance of BA BA LAND is taking place in January at the Cordes Hall, Sunninghill. The competition is simple:

Write a rhyme for our time - a twist on an existing nursery rhyme, or something brand new.  There is an entry form below or available on the Quince Players website.

Submit it to the Quince Players by 19th November at qp.panto@gmail.com

There are 3 age categories: 5-7, 8-11 and 12-16 years.

We plan to display all the entries in the Cordes Hall during the panto show run (11th-14th and 18-20th January).

We will pick a winner in each category and publish these in the programme.

We will pick an overall winner, who will also receive tickets for a family of four to see the panto.

 Attendance

Please do not book holidays or family days during term time.  Missing even one or two days of school can be detrimental to your child's learning as key information is missed. Friendships are also affected.  Holiday absences will show up as persistent absence which is checked by Ofsted when they visit and monitored closely each half term by the Education Welfare Officer at RBWM.
