Newsletter 21 - 23rd February 2024

Dear Parents and Carers,

New Behaviour Policy

We have developed our new policy along with the children and staff. It is in draft form at the moment awaiting Governor ratification. If you’d like to see more it’s available here.

Our new Holy Trinity Rules have been introduced to the children. Maybe take some time to ask your child about the new rules and the kind of examples we’ve been discussing.

World Thinking Day

It was wonderful to see the children wearing the uniforms of the Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies or Guides yesterday – they were proud of their achievements and activities outside of school and rightly so! Apologies for the confusion with the date!

Class Assembly

Next week, Y5 Class Assembly is on Thursday 29th February at 9.15am in the hall. Please do join us via the back hall door if you are able to.

Goodbye and Good Luck

To Mrs Bennett – we wish you luck in your new job. You will be missed! Thank you for your contributions to Holy Trinity.

Plant Plea

We are on the look out for indoor plants to enhance our school. If you have any that you’d like to donate we’d be very grateful! Please bring them along to the office. Thank you!

Wishing you a lovely weekend.

Mrs Jo Griffith

World Book Day - Friday 8th March

Don't forget we will be celebrating World Book Day in school this year on Friday 8th March and children will be asked to dress up as characters from books!

Royal Windsor Flower Show - School Wheelbarrow Challenge

Work will begin very soon on designing and creating our entry into the “Diversity in Nature Wheelbarrow Challenge”

Wheelbarrow colouring sheets will be given to the children over the next week. If they would like to make a design, either drawings, pictures or written words, about what they'd like to see in or around the wheelbarrow, please do this at your leisure and hand them into reception when completed.

We’ll use these designs and display the best ones along with our wheelbarrow on the day (remember to write your name).

Sunningdale Prep School - Production of Oliver!

Sunningdale Prep School in Dry Arch Road has three productions of their musical, Oliver! which will take place on Wednesday 6th March (6.30pm), Thursday 7th March, (6.30pm) and Friday 8th March (2.30pm). If you would like to go along tickets are available to book here.

There will be 98 seats available for each of the three performances. There will be no charge for tickets for the tiered seating. 40 seats will be around tables to make it an immersive experience, with the actors engaging with the audience. We thought this might be a good chance to raise some money for charity so these tickets are priced at £5 each. All proceeds will go to our chosen charity of the year, Farms for City Children. The tiered seating is free of charge.
