Head Girl and Head Boy

I’ve told the children that this is my best and worst job as a Headteacher all rolled into one – choosing the Head Pupils. Once again, this year so many wonderful candidates put themselves forward for this role and made the decision extremely difficult!

Our congratulations go to Inez (Head Girl) and James (Head Boy), Heloise (Deputy Head Girl) and Samuel (Deputy Head Boy).

Enough from me! Have a wonderful weekend,

Mrs Griffith

Stars of the Week for w/e 15th September 2023

Well done to all of our Stars this week.

Class 1 – Zac for an excellent attitude to his learning and challenging himself in his maths.

Class 2 – Poppy for her effort in reading at home. Reading two books from the class list already is amazing!

Class 3 – Alice for taking such pride in the presentation of her work.

Class 4 – Rosie for the effort she puts into the presentation of her work across the curriculum.

Class 5 – Ava for concentrating well in lessons and trying her hardest – a fantastic start to Year 5!

Class 6 – Neive for her proactive participation in lessons and being independent with her learning.

House of the Week
The Houses with the most house points this week are Earth and Fire! Well done Earth and Fire!

We are joined by Cathy Wassell, who runs the charity, Autism in Girls Network, to talk about how girls are often diagnosed much later than boys due to misconceptions about how it presents itself.

She can talk both personally and professionally and personally about the challenges of getting a diagnosis and gives practical tips and techniques for those who care for children and teenagers.

Ticket prices are £5 to cover the cost of hosting Cathy at our theatre. Book here:
