Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been a very calm and productive start to our school year. Thank you for all your efforts to make sure the children have the correct uniform and items they need – it makes such a huge difference when they are ready and settled to learn!
Our Super Sixers (we have two Year 6 classes!) have started the process of applying for the Pupil Leadership roles. This week, the children across the school heard the speeches of the candidates for House Captains and Vice Captains of the four houses. All children then voted and we are very happy to be able to announce the successful candidates today. Our congratulations go to:
House Captain: Emily Moss
Vice Captain: Jack Temple
House Captain: Darcie Stephens
Vice Captain: Jenson Clifford
House Captain: Poppy Leach
Vice Captain: Sonny Boyce
House Captain: Woody Smith
Vice Captain: Rhys McKnight
As you know, we sometimes put a plea out for items that we need. We currently have the need for:
If you’re able to donate any funds, items or your time, please contact the office. A huge thank you in advance!
Incidentally, we will have another Parent Governor vacancy in October. There will be more details in next week's newsletter but in the meantime if you think you might be interested please let the school office know.
Have a wonderful weekend,

Covid may well be here to stay and government regulations and recommendations change all the time. We've updated our 'What to do if ...' document which you can find here and in the Coronavirus section of our website.
