It has been a very calm and productive start to our school year. Thank you for all your efforts to make sure the children have the correct uniform and items they need – it makes such a huge difference when they are ready and settled to learn!
Our Super Sixers (we have two Year 6 classes!) have started the process of applying for the Pupil Leadership roles. This week, the children across the school heard the speeches of the candidates for House Captains and Vice Captains of the four houses. All children then voted and we are very happy to be able to announce the successful candidates today. Our congratulations go to:

Stars of the Week for w/e – 10th September 2021
Well done to all of our Stars this week!
Class 1 – Savan for settling in so well to Holy Trinity. We are so lucky to have him with us!
Class 2 – Ethan for a great start to Year 1, coming in to school with confidence.
Class 3 – James for coming in to school with a positive attitude every day and for his great effort in maths all week.
Class 4 – Josh for settling in to Year 4 so brilliantly and working hard with Mrs Puckett. James for being such an enthusiastic learner and making super contributions in all of his lessons.
Class 5 – Benoit for fantastic work in English every day this week.
Class 6N – Zara for demonstrating so many of the Holy Trinity values during her first week of Y6.
Year 6W – Eloise for a great start to Year 6 and putting every effort into all of her work.

We've updated our 'What to do if ...' document which you can find here and in the Coronavirus section of our website. School Clubs
Our school clubs all start next week. We still have places available for Thursday Art Club (Y2 - 6), Magpies clubs, Fencing and Playball.

Return of the Buddy System!
We are so pleased to be able to start up our buddy system again! As you can see from the children's faces, Year 1 and 6W have absolutely loved getting to know each other over the last week or so. They are all very excited to find out who their buddy will be!

AGM & PTA Meeting
The AGM and first PTA Meeting is being held on Monday 20th September at 8.00pm in the School Hall. If attending, please enter the School Hall via the Church Road entrance. New Class reps and Committee will be voted in at the meeting.
Following the AGM, Classlist will be updated with the new Class Reps as Ambassadors. Please remember, Classlist is only be used to communicate PTA/class related information.

Absence
Ofsted noted a marked increase in persistent absence (a holiday will register as persistent absence). Please do not book holidays or family days during term time. Thank you.
Please do not send your child to school if they're unwell or with a high temperature controlled by paracetamol or ibuprofen. Don't forget that your child must not return to school until at least 48 hours after the last episode of any gastric upset (vomiting or diarrhoea).
