Newsletter 22 - 11th February 2022

Dear Parents and Carers,

One more week to go until half term! You may have children in neighbouring Local Authorities that are breaking up today for their half term week. Either way, it’ll be a welcome break for us all I know.

On Monday 14th February we are celebrating our school members who are Rainbows, Brownies, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts or Guides. We are inviting them to wear their uniform if they’d like to. If they have PE that day, they’re welcome to wear uniform on Tuesday if they'd like to!

Who’s Who Mufti

On Friday 18th we have a PTA fundraiser – see the details below. I’ve heard about lots of creative ideas and we’re really looking forward to having a fun day in school!

Have a great weekend,

Mrs Griffith

Girl Guide Thinking Day - Monday 14th February

Girl Guides and Girl Scouts have been marking this special day since 1926.  World Thinking Day is a celebration of ten million girls worldwide that has taken place on every 22 February since 1926. It remains a day for all Guides and Girl Scouts to think of each other and celebrate their sisters all around the world.

Thinking Day falls within half term, so we are inviting any children (girls and boys) who take part in Guiding or Scouting  to wear their uniforms to school on Monday 14th February if they wish.  Alternatively, they can proudly display their promise badges on their usual school uniform.

School Lunch Menu - Next Week

Please note that next week's lunch menu is Week 1, labelled 21st February, as RBWM have different half term dates to most surrounding areas.
