Newsletter 34 - 16th June 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

Sports Day

Thank you so much to all who were able to join us for Sports Day yesterday – the children really had a great time and I do hope you all enjoyed the family picnic lunch.  A big thank you to Miss Harding, Mrs Tomes, all staff and the Y6 House Captains for organising and running the events.

Windsor Flower Show

A great big thank you to Mrs Tomes and the parents of Reception Class who came and volunteered to help with our Windsor Flower show Wheelbarrow.  A work of art and from the heart!  It is lovely to see the welly boot display on the ramp.   I am delighted to report that Reception Class won the ‘Peter Seabrook Challenge' Potato competition, their potato crop weighed in at 1.5kg and the Trowel and Trophy were presented by Sophie, The Duchess of Edinburgh.  Please see the pictures below.

Summer Fair

Saturday 24th June is fast approaching for our Summer Fair with LOTS planned.  We look forward to seeing you all between 11-2pm.  Thank you to our wonderful PTA for all their hard work and watch out for the Raffle Tickets in your child’s bag.

Enjoy another wonderful sunny weekend!

Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Carers,

As a valued member of our school family, we understand that times may be tough for small businesses and self-employed individuals. That's why we're extending a special invitation to advertise your business at our upcoming Summer Fair.

We have a limited number of vendor spaces left available, and we're offering a discounted rate for school family members. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business to a local audience and support our school community at the same time.
In addition to the vendor space, we will also include your business in our event program and on our school website. This will give you further exposure to our school community and the wider local community.

We welcome vendors from all kinds of fields, including those who provide services that our school families may find useful, such as:

- Driving instructors
- Painters and decorators
- Crafters and artisans
- Handyman services
- Childminding and entertainment
- Car mechanics and auto repair
- Catering and cooking
- Personal training and fitness instruction
- And more

We value your participation in our school community, and we want to make sure that you have the opportunity to benefit from this event. As such, we encourage you to reach out to us if you're interested in securing a vendor space at our Summer Fair. You can contact me directly or email us at htpta@outlook.com.

We understand that the deadline to submit your interest is June 20, 2023, and we'll do our best to accommodate as many vendors as we can. We look forward to seeing you at the Summer Fair and showcasing your business to our school community.
Best Wishes
Your PTA
