    Dear Parents and Carers,

As we come to the end of another sunny week, we creep closer to the end of the school year.

This week was the last week of any before or after-school clubs on site.

    Reports To Parents

Next Friday, you will be receiving your child’s end of year school report. Do look out for them in Book Bags!

    Year 6 Production

We wish all the performers the best of luck in their production of ‘Olivia!’ next Thursday evening. I know Y4 and Y5 will support the choral elements admirably.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend,

    Mrs Griffith

    Little Princess Trust

Yesterday, Ottilie in Year 2 donated her incredible hair to the Little Princess Trust charity which makes wigs for children going through cancer treatment.  Ottilie has also raised £2110 for the charity which is enough to make three wigs along with a contribution to medical research in to childhood cancers.  Ottilie's Mum said:

'We are so grateful to everyone who has donated and for the support Ottilie has received. The words of encouragement have meant so much to Ottilie and she has loved reading the messages on her just giving page so thankyou to everyone who took the time to do this. One message we received was from a dad who’s little girl fought cancer and she was donated a beautiful auburn wig from the little princess trust charity and said what a difference it made to her. The work the charity does is incredible and I know how proud Ottilie is to of been able to help'.

Ottilie's fundraising page remains open here over the weekend for any further donations.

Ottilie has a fabulous new hair style!

    Athletics Competition at Charters School

Two teams from Years 5 and 6 attended an athletics competition on Tuesday after school at Charters against South Ascot Village School, taking part in shot putt, vortex throw, 60m sprint and long jump. The children did brilliantly in the heat and we are awaiting the results!

    Pre-Loved Uniform Sale

Mrs Fisher, our uniform volunteer extraordinaire will be running a Pre-Loved uniform sale next Wednesday 15th July from 2.45 (ish) in the Happy Hub.  There is plenty of stock and all items are £2 each, payable by card or cash.

    Year 4 Origami Sale

Austin, Bodhi, Halle and Krish have been crafting with origami and will have a sale of the beautiful things they've made outside the Happy Hub, at the same time as the uniform sale. This is to raise money for the Child Action Lanka charity who we are partnered with.  All items 50p and up - cash only please.

    Holy Trinity Food Bank

Contributions to the food bank collection box in school reception are very welcome.  These are for the Holy Trinity Church Food Bank which is open to our community without referral and we would love to have one last drive before the summer holidays to help see families through.  Non perishable foods, non foods (including toilet rolls, tissues etc) and treats are all welcome.  Lunch items would be useful as we come up to the holidays.  Just pop things in to the box inside school reception door.  Many thanks!

    School Lunches - Price Increase

School lunches will be £2.99 from September.  Meals will become chargeable for children moving from year 2 to year 3 unless entitled to Free School Meals so please ensure you have a lunch balance on ParentPay in advance of asking your child to order a school lunch.

    RBWM SEND Survey

SEND Voices RBWM (the independent parent carer forum for the royal borough) runs a survey annually to get an understanding of the effectiveness of SEND services for families in the borough and the impact that recent SEND improvement work is having on families’ lived experiences. These results also provide parent carer views for the local area SEND Reform work over the next few years.

This survey is open to all families who live in (or access services in) the royal borough and who have a child aged 0-25 years with any special educational needs and/or disabilities. Please see the flyer below to access the survey.
