Newsletter 35 - 19th June 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you to all those who helped organise and deliver such a lovely Summer Fair last weekend. We hope you all enjoyed attending. You have raised an incredible £5,612!

Special thanks go to Hannah Howe and Jenny Lynch in the role as Co-Chairs for the PTA for the past 2 years. Thank you both – you have done a wonderful job and made a real difference for the school and our children.

If you are interested in becoming a class rep for your class next year, please do come along to the AGM in September (date tbc) and volunteer your help – thank you!

Staffing in September and Meet The Teacher Meetings for Y1 to Y6

I’m aware this is a hot topic of conversation! We are really blessed with a very experienced and committed staff at Holy Trinity. My thanks go to them all for their dedication and care.

Reception Class: Mrs Tomes and Mrs Lawrence with Mrs Meadows and Miss Fearn

Year 1: Mrs Barnes and Mrs O’Brien with Mrs Cross and Mrs Harrison

Year 2: Mrs Stephens and Mrs Milner with Miss Fearn, Mrs Whiter and our newest member of staff Miss Cvirikova

Year 3: Mrs Rhodes and Mrs Ahmed with Miss Lazar

Year 4: Mrs Hurst with Mrs Hunter and Mrs Whiter

Year 5: Mrs Pinkerton with Miss Bohdjalian

Year 6: Miss Harding and Mrs Fargher with Mrs O’Neill and Miss Bohdjalian

Children will be spending the morning in their new classes with their new teachers on Wednesday 1st July.

You are invited to one of the Meet The Teacher meetings on Tuesday 7th July  at either 2.45 – 3.15pm or 3.20 – 3.40pm in your child’s new classroom.

Reception Class

As part of Reception classes transition into Year 1, they are invited to come in to school via the main entrance on Station Road from Monday. They will then walk through the main gate and take themselves to their classroom. This makes a really big difference to them coming in to Year 1 in September – encouraging them in their independence is very valuable. So please join us in enabling them to build their confidence coming through the main gate by themselves.

Sports Day

If your child would like to order a school packed lunch that day please click here to order by end of Thursday 25th June at the very latest.  There won't be any hot lunches or grab bags to order on the day.

Heat Wave on the way…

PLEASE make sure your child is wearing suncream, brings a hat and a water bottle every day next week.

Reception Class Assembly

We look forward to welcoming Reception class parents to their assembly next Thursday 25th June at 9am. Please come in to the hall via the door on Church Road.

I wish you all a lovely, sunny weekend. Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads!

Mrs Griffith
