Newsletter 29 - 1st May 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

Class Assembly

Well done to Year 2 – they treated us to a lovely Class Assembly yesterday. The next class to invite parents in is

Year 1 at 9am on Thursday 21st May.

Mini Marathon

Huge congratulations to all our Mini Marathon runners last Saturday. It looks like you all enjoyed the opportunity – you’ve been awarded super medals for your efforts!

Scooters

I know many of our children scoot to and from school and many more will own a scooter and enjoy it at weekends etc. Please do take the time to talk to your child about scooting safely – see the poster below.

PTA Summer Fair

This year the fair is on Saturday 13th June 12 – 4pm. Do check Class List to find out ways to contribute and support this fundraising and fun event. Thank you!

Bank Holiday

We will not be open on Monday but will welcome the children back in on Tuesday 5th May.

Enjoy the long weekend!

Mrs Griffith

London Mini Marathon

Set against a backdrop of Horse Guards Parade, St James' Park, Buckingham Palace and The Mall, 39 Holy Trinity children ran in the London Mini Marathon last Saturday!  The weather was kind and and everyone reported that it was a great event to be involved in.  Some of the children even met Fury from Gladiators! Hopefully we'll get places again next year so if you think this is something your family would like to take part in, look out for sign ups next Spring.

Scholastic Book Club

Our new Scholastic Book Club is up and running! Go to https://clubs.scholastic.co.uk/C-258W8XZZ to browse the latest books and order online. For every £1 you spend on this month’s Book Club, our school will earn 20p in Scholastic Rewards.

Please place your order online by May 11th, 2026.

Breckenridge Boards - Advertising PTA Summer Fair

Would you mind hosting an advertising board for the school fair?  These will be installed at your address by Breckenridge Lettings a couple of weeks before the fair and taken down a short while afterwards.  These are like a 'For Sale' board but with details of the date and time of our summer fair.  In return, Breckenridge Lettings will be donating a brand new Ipad for our raffle!  If you can take part,  here and add your name and address by Friday 15th May.

Many thanks!

London's Children Ballet - Anne of Green Gables

A former Holy Trinity pupil, John Holden, is performing in this production at Sadler's Wells from the 3rd to 5th July.

Thermomix

The editor (Sarah Lawson) has returned to a previous side quest demonstrating the fabulous new Thermomix.  Want to know more?  I can do demonstrations in my home or yours or we now have a brand new public demonstration kitchen in Bracknell (near Waitrose) with slots on weekdays, evenings and weekends where you can just go along and see a demonstration, get hands on and taste some lovely home made food.  Thermomix is brilliant whether you love cooking or hate it - I've had one in my kitchen for 14 years and wouldn't be without one now.  Speak to me or drop me an email on sarah.lawson1@outlook.com and I'll get in touch. Feel free to be curious - NEVER any pressure to buy.
