Anti-Bullying Week

Next week is Anti-Bullying week and the children will be taking part in various activities in school.  On Wednesday

Years 2 - 6 will see a production in the school hall called 'Bully's Paradise'.  In addition, in celebration of all that is different, children can wear odd socks of any type and colour to school all week if they'd like to.

Year 2 at Chobham RFC

Last weekend Alex, Findlay and Jude in Year 2 all took part in an U7s tag-rugby festival with local rivals Cobham RFC. They had a fantastic time and played really well. This is the second festival the boys have played in this year and all 3 scored tries for their team! We are all proud of their attitude and spirit.

If your children would like to try tag-rugby, Chobham RFC are only 7 minutes from Sunningdale and run tag-rugby coaching for children from Reception to Year 4 every Sunday morning. Come along at 9.15 and see how much fun it can be for children of all ages and abilities! First 3 sessions are free and the club is particularly keen to attract more girls to the sport.

For more information contact Chobham U7's manager Nikki at u7chobhamrugby@gmail.com

Outdoor PE Kit

As the weather turns colder, children may wear dark coloured tracksuit bottoms (minimal embellishment please), black leggings or black skins for outdoor PE.

Poppy Appeal 2019

Thank you for all your generous contributions to the Poppy Appeal. The school raised a fantastic £484 for the Royal British Legion.

Plastic Bottle Recycling

Our plastic recycling project will soon come to an end and our last collection from school will be on Tuesday 14th January.  So this does mean if you are able to collect any plastic bottles over the Christmas holiday period we'd be very pleased to take them from you as a last push to save plastic and raise funds.  The current league table shows we're up to £837 raised for school.  Can we get to £1k before the end of the project?  Click here for the league table.  Thanks for all of your bottles so far!

Football in School

Please can you make sure children don't bring footballs to school.  Football will now be scheduled on the school field on a rota basis on three pitches so that this can be properly supervised.  A ball will be provided for each pitch.  Thank you for your help with this.

Flu Forms

Last call for flu forms.  Please return any last forms to the classroom or school office as soon as possible.  Many thanks.

School Clubs

Clubs sign up forms and links are gradually becoming available on the school website for the Spring Term.   In 2 Sport football is now open for booking on their website.  Please note In 2 Sport will be running a brand new football club for Reception children only on a Tuesday after school.  The Thursday In 2 Sport football club is available for Y1 - Y6 only.  We will also have a brand new fencing club starting after Christmas on Monday mornings from 8am to 8.45 for Y1 - Y6.
