Newsletter 26 - 30th March 2020

Dear Parents and children,

Well, we are one week in and it feels like a lifetime doesn't it? We really hope that you're all well and finding some peace and joy in this unusual time. I've heard and seen lots of examples of kindness and community spirit. I've seen a few rainbows about too!

As difficult as it may be, it's really important that we try our hardest to follow the government guidelines at the moment. Not playing out with your friends or going to the park can be hard but it won't be forever. Please make sure you're staying home and staying safe.

School has been very different too. We've had about 6 children in each day. It's very quiet! Mrs Hill is working hard to deep clean the whole school and get it ready for when we're all back together.

Your teachers have been posting daily messages to you on your class pages. There is no pressure or expectation that you complete everything, it's just a few ideas of activities. There is no need to send any work into school. We are asking a class at a time to email photos into the school office if you'd like to share what you've been doing with all your friends on the newsletter. Y6 are featuring in this newsletter - thank you Y6 for sharing!

Y5, if you'd like to send any photos to the office, we can put them in next week's newsletter.

Remember our value is 'compassion' - what a perfect chance for you to show compassion to your family and neighbours during this time.

Stay safe and stay positive!

Mrs Griffith & Mrs O'Brien
