School Council

Welcome to our school council page.

Congratulations to our school councillors of 2021-22. Today we had our first meeting at the church and it was wonderful to hear so many of their brilliant ideas. It’s going to be a great year!

Our first meeting at the church!

On Wednesday 30th June, the school council went on a little trip to the church. Reverend Jon, Mrs Boaler and I wanted to say a big thank you to them all on behalf of the whole school and community for their fantastic work during what has been a more challenging year. They have all made us so proud by approaching their roles with enthusiasm and positivity.

Thank you school council!

Visit to the Royal Mews

The Chair of Governors, Mr Pelly, came to talk to us.

School Council Educational Visits

School Council last year visited the Mayor of Windsor at the Guildhall in Windsor with the other school councils in our cluster. She told us about the history of the Mayors in Windsor and we enjoyed taking a good look around the Guildhall.

Sophia even got to try on some Mayoral robes.

We loved watching the changing of the guard - so exciting!

Visit to the Houses of Parliament

We were lucky enough to receive a guided tour around the Houses of Parliament and receive an education session too. Our MP Adam Afriyie also came to talk to us. We asked him how he could help improve the traffic around our school and maybe help with a crossing. It was a wonderful experience.
