Spellings:
Here are this week's spellings - please remember to practise for a few minutes each day to help the children retain the patterns. Please encourage breaking the words up into the sounds needed eg smile - s/m/i-e/l. They know that split digraphs make one sound but have the final sound in between!! (Hard to demonstrate in written form!!) Please feel free to come and ask for more support to make this clearer!
Mathletics:
3 more tasks have been set but please continue to complete any outstanding one that may still be there.
You may well need to use counters for the addition and subtraction problems. This will really help the children to 'see' the maths so please do use them! Thank you!
