    Dear Parents and Carers,

Our vision is for our pupils to flourish in an inclusive, inspirational place of learning where we are happy, respectful, kind and safe.

We do hope you all enjoyed your half term break.

    Staffing

We are very pleased to be welcoming Mrs Lawrence to our staffing team in September. Mrs Lawrence will be teaching Reception class on a Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. Mrs Tomes will continue to teach Reception class the rest of the week.

We will be informing you of the staffing of other classes as soon as we're able to. Please make a note in your diaries that you have the chance to meet your child's teacher for next year on Tuesday 8th July at either 2.45pm or 3.20pm.

    National Volunteer Week

This week is National Volunteer Week and I’d like to extend thanks to all those who volunteer at school. Our Governors, PTA, our gardeners and helpers, parent reading volunteers and all of you who have signed up to volunteer at our Summer Circus!  You all make such a difference to our Holy Trinity Community - so thank you!

    National Sports Week

You will be receiving a letter from Miss Harding to explain further details, but we're looking forward to celebrating on the week commencing 16th June. Please note that we will be having a Sports Mufti (your favourite sporting team strip or dress up to imitate your favourite athlete etc) on Friday 20th June. Minimum donation of £1 which will be spent on playground equipment. Thank you in advance for your support with this.

    Dogs

Whilst some of us love a canine companion, we have children who are very anxious around dogs of all shapes and sizes. So please make sure that if you need to bring your dog to drop off/pick up that you make sure they do not come onto the school premises at all. Your cooperation with this would be much appreciated.

Please do take the time to read the diary dates as Summer is a very busy time of year.

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the Windsor Flower Show if you plan on attending!

    Year 2 Trip to Windsor

On Tuesday 3rd June, we went on a school trip to Windsor. First we put on our hi-vis jackets and got into partners and went onto the Fernhill coach. The journey took about 30 minutes. Then we got off of the coach and walked along the long walk. We got told if the flag is up then the king is in. When we were at the castle gates, we took a picture of the whole class and behind us was Windsor castle. After that we walked to St John’s the Baptist church. We quickly had a look inside. It was ancient, historical and the chairs were glossy. It was an amazing sight. Then we went to Guild Hall and saw the room where King Charles married Queen Camilla. Then we went for our lunch at St Alexander’s Park. Finally, we walked back to the coach and drove back to school. We really enjoyed the trip.
