Newsletter 23 - 7th March 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

Our vision is for our pupils to flourish in an inclusive, inspirational place of learning where we are happy, respectful, kind and safe.

World Book Day

Another year of wonderful costumes, celebrating books and having fun! Thank you for all your efforts with the costumes and for all the donations of books. The PTA ran the book sale throughout the day and it was a great success!

Playground Zones

Miss Harding has introduced two new zones to our lunchtime play: bikes for KS1 and a skipping zone. The Y5 Play Leaders have done a fantastic job of facilitating these zones – well done to them!  We do hope your children have enjoyed the additional choices of activity. We hope to slowly introduce more zones. Please see some photos below.

Year 6 Class Assembly

Well done to Year 6 for their last Class Assembly!

Year 4 parents are welcome to join us on Thursday 20th March at 9am for the Year 4 Class assembly in the hall. Please come to the back of the hall from school drop off.

Lent

As you know, the season of Lent has begun this week. We have discussed with the children the opportunity to develop their own spirituality at this time by either the traditional route of ‘giving something up’ for Lent or by doing something extra to help others through acts of kindness.

We invite pupils to join with us when we pray our School Prayer in Collective Worship:

This is our school.
Let peace and harmony dwell here.
Let the room be full of contentment.
Let love abide here.
Love of one another,
Love of life itself,
and love of God.
Let us remember:
that as many hands build a house;
so, many hearts build a school.

Amen

Enjoy the weekend.

Mrs Griffith
