House of the Week
The House with the most house points this week is Fire! Well done Fire!
Year 3 Visit to Butser Ancient Farm
On Monday, Year 3 visited Butser Ancient Farm to learn more about The Stone Age and Iron Age.
First, we carved chalk with flint. We rubbed the chalk with leaves to give it some colour. Next, we tried to make a spark with a wooden plough and stick which was really tricky. Then, we used metal strikers which gave us some very good bright sparks.
After that, we went for an archaeological dig to find artefacts from the past. Our last activity was making a ring or bracelet using copper wire and pliers. We had a great day out even though we had to brave the rainy weather and the extremely smokey roundhouse.

Spring Clubs
Most clubs are now available for booking. Please see details on our website here. Don't forget to check out our new clubs, AI and Robotics on Mondays after school for Years 1 - 3 and Mad Science Clubs on Tuesdays for Years 1 - 6.
