Autumn
KS1 Nativity- Hey Ewe!
The Great Fire of London workshop- London's Burning! A great day was had by all at the Great Fire of London workshop in Year 2. We had lots of fun learning about the fire and embedding our learning through drama, roleplay, music and games.
Halloween!
Culture Week- Maya came to school dressed in a beautiful traditional Indian outfit and she shared with us the stick she uses when dancing at celebrations.
Culture Week- Margot shared with us the connection she has with France. She taught us the French greeting 'Bonjour' and shared two popular toys that children in France receive when they are born.
Culture Week- Thank you to Kavi and her family for sharing a traditional food and insights into Sri Lankan life. The children enjoyed tasting the Kiri bath and learning from Kavi about places she has visited and traditions from Sri Lanka.
