Newsletter 35 - 20th June 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

Our vision is for our pupils to flourish in an inclusive, inspirational place of learning where we are happy, respectful, kind and safe.

Y1 Class Assembly

Well done to Year 1 for the wonderful assembly! I know Mrs Barnes and Mrs O'Brien were very proud of you.

Thank you

For your donations this morning for Sports Mufti - the House Captains will be deciding how to spend the money for playground equipment.

Jonathan's Jungle

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had a very exciting visit from Jonathan and his multitude of animals this week. We hope they have shared their experience with you and told you which was their favourite!

Anti-Bullying Theatre Show

Key Stage 2 pupils enjoyed a show this week with the theatre company. Please do take the time to ask your child about it.

Good News!

Our Kindness Ambassadors nominated the Gardening Club for a national Collective Kindness Award through the 52 Lives Charity. We are very proud to announce that they were runners-up! What a difference you're making Gardeners! Thank you to Mrs Patel and Mrs Drewitt for giving their time and energy for such a wonderful school resource.

Library Renovation Update

As you know, PTA are currently raising funds to re-vamp the library in school. Well, it begins on Monday! Mr Kola and his team will be decorating and the new furniture will be fitted on 15th July. We're very grateful for all the donations towards this much-needed update and we'd like to say a special thank you to Mrs Howe and Mrs Lynch for co-chairing the PTA so brilliantly this year.

All of your children will enjoy and benefit from the new library so do please support the PTA Summer Circus on 28th June.

You can buy tokens (£1 each) to spend at the fair after school each day next week - beat the queues on the day!

Return all library books

If your child currently has a library book at home or in their book bag, please return it to school ASAP. Thank you.

Have a lovely weekend.
