Newsletter 17 - 16th January 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

Child Action Lanka

Stephanie Hynard came to visit us on Tuesday to introduce a Charity called Child Action Lanka (CAL) that Reverend Jon and Manor Green School in Maidenhead are helping to support.  https://childactionlanka.org

Stephanie shared with us her experiences of life in Sri Lanka.

CAL works with the poorest most vulnerable families in Sri Lanka.  Sri Lanka was hit by a tornado in December 2025 and most of their housing was washed away. The school was flooded and equipment damaged.  The children and staff will be discussing how we can best support CAL and be true agents of change.

Foodbank Donation Point - Holy Trinity Church Hub

The Kindness Ambassadors and Spiritual Leaders have been busy this term designing a food donation point box for the Reception Area in School.  We are very proud of you all!  A huge thank you to Ms Kacerauskaite for her help and design skills.

We are collecting non perishable food, non foods or special treats for the Holy Trinity Church Foodbank.  Please drop off any donations in the box in Reception.  We thank you for your kindness.

Wishing you a lovely weekend

Mrs Carmel Barnes

Assistant Headteacher
