Dear Parents and Carers,
Christmas Fair
Firstly, a huge thank you for such a fabulous Christmas Fair last Saturday. Particular thanks go to the PTA Co-Chairs; Jenny Lynch and Hannah Howe, to the PTA Secretary and Treasurer; Lizzie McIntosh and Chrissy De Beer for your relentless energy and commitment. And the PTA Class Reps for your time, energy and organisation.
To all the Y6 pupils who volunteered and all the parents and staff who volunteered time to help out on the stalls.
You have raised a total PROFIT of £5644! Incredible.
Thank you for your support.
Digital Leaders Christmas/Winter Card Competition
Our Y6 Digital Leaders have set a challenge for pupils to have a go at creating their own digital creation on Purple Mash. The instructions are here. The winner from KS1 and KS2 will receive a Selection Box. The deadline for entries is Friday 12th December. Good Luck!
IT Fund
Thank you for your donations to our IT fund. We currently have £1,900. We will be using the fund to obtain replacement laptops/devices for the pupils’ use.

Just in case you missed it, here it is!

Raffle First Prize Winner!
We were delighted that our close neighbour Mrs O'Kill was the first prize winner in our Christmas Raffle. Mrs O'Kill has been involved with and supported us at Holy Trinity for many years and always comes to our Christmas and Summer fairs. She has never won a first prize or owned an IPad before, and is very excited to learn how to use it. Oscar and Jacob went to see her to deliver the prize - see below!

House of the Week
The House with the most house points this week is Fire! Well done Fire!
Kindness Advent Calendar
As we enter the busyness of Christmas - let us remember the small acts of peace and goodwill we can share during this Advent Season. Sometimes miracles are good people with kind hearts.
Poppy Appeal
Thank you for all your generous donations to the Royal British Legion again this year. You raised £241.61!
Year 5/6 Boys Football Tournament
On Tuesday after school, the year 5 and 6 boys football teams represented us at Charters. They played against schools from St. Francis, St. Michael’s and South Ascot. It was rather cold but all boys played brilliantly in their teams. After playing seven games, our A Team finished second behind St. Francis A but in front of St. Francis B who were in third. Well done to all the boys who were great representatives of Holy Trinity and thank you to the parents who were able to watch and support.

New Clubs
We have two exciting new clubs starting after Christmas. On Monday will be AI and Robotics Club for Years 1 - 3 and on Tuesdays we will have a Mad Science Club for Years 1 - 6.
Wreath Making Workshop
The Friends of Charters School are hosting a Christmas Wreath-Making Workshop next Wednesday 3rd December, 6–8pm in our Main Hall. It’s a fun, relaxed way for families who are thinking about Charters for Year 7 to meet some of our parents and get a feel for our community.
Event details:
We have a few tickets remaining and we’d love to welcome as many of your parents as possible.
Grab a ticket here.
Parking
We are receiving complaints again from neighbours about illegal and inconsiderate parking. Please don't use the disabled bay unless you are displaying a blue badge. Please stay well clear of junctions, even if you are displaying a blue badge as this makes crossing the road perilous for our Year 6s and Charters students walking to school. There was another near miss just last week involving a car which was parked illegally.
