Year 1 Phonics Screening Check - Parent Meeting

The Phonics Screening Check (PSC) is a statutory assessment conducted in the Summer Term of Year One.   This year, it will be taking place during week commencing Monday 10th June 2024.

 

We will be giving a short presentation after the Year 1 Assembly on Thursday 9th May to let you have more details about:

 

  • What is the PSC and why was it introduced?
  • What does it check?
  • What are the allowances?
  • Any further questions you may have.

 

A copy of the presentation will be made available after the meeting for those who are unable to stay.
