Partisan votes are obviously encouraged!

Voting is now live with a closing date of Sunday, 7th April 2024.

For those going to the Spring Family Raceday this Sunday, they will all be on display in the Pavilion for racegoers to view and cast their votes also.

Winners will be announced at the beginning of May - winners/runner ups plus a school representative will be invited to a celebratory presentation on Saturday, 11th May 2023 so all to vote for!

Please also share with any friends and family who might like to vote.

Allotment Update

This week on the allotment was gorgeous and felt like spring has finally sprung.
We had our first tulips blooming this week, we have spring onions just germinated, tiny beginnings of radish, and we can now start sowing lots and lots of seeds. This year will be quite an experiment l, seeing what grows well and what doesn’t.
We were donated a wonderful table and umbrella. Martin and Gabriel’s Daddy kindly painted the table top for us. It’s been paintings with chalk board paint so that the children can write or draw on it.
We also received our fruit trees from the tree council, and those will be planted by the end of next week.
A reminder that we definitely still need lots more compost !! Don’t forget to grab a grow kit for sow day, and put Friday 26th April 3:15 pm in your diary for the official allotment opening.

PTA Update

We’ve had a busy Spring Term with our parent community of fundraisers and fun-makers! Polytunnel builds and set up, Bake Sales, World Book Day Sales and let’s not forget the first ever HTS School Disco of the 2020s!

The 2nd Hand Book Sale re-homed a lot of great page turners and raised £212.80! We will do this again so keep the kids’ books until we come calling for a book amnesty!

The Disco

KS1 were joined by our neighbours over from the Sunningdale Pre-School in the first session followed by KS2 in the later session.  We hope the kids enjoyed this. It was great to see them throw all sorts of shapes on the dance floor with their friends! Any feedback to help make it better feel free to use this form School Disco Feedback 2024.

Big thanks to the all the parents who brought the neon vision to life! It was a great turn out of parent volunteers who made it feel safe and show their support! Fire Away Pizza and Simmons of Sunninghill were great community partners and supplied us the great food at very reasonable prices to make this a worthwhile venture….allowing us to raise a whopping £1,008 cash profit!

So, what’s next?

  1. We have the official unveiling of the Polytunnel and Allotment area on Friday 26th April (see the flyer below). There’ll be seeds on sale alongside some refreshments. Thanks to Mrs Patel (Mum of Savan and Pasha) there has been so much work to get this lovely area for kids to use as a space to create some bio-diversity on the school grounds to sow and grow seeds and hopefully harvest and who knows, someday cook/sell the fruits of their labour!
  2.  We are already in the throws of planning the Summer Fair for Saturday June 29th. We’d love to have your input to make it fabulous and wider reaching! You don’t have to be a Class Rep – you just need to come with ideas and energy to help us make it a show stopper!
