Charters School Football Tournament
On Tuesday after school , two football teams from Years 5 and 6 took part in a football tournament with other local primary schools at Charters School. One of our teams came 3rd out of nine teams which is a fantastic result. We were pleased to have representation from the girls as well as boys. Well done to everyone who took part: Ben F, Findlay, Harry, Iris, Jack, James W, Josh, Jude, Kaleb, Keiron, Lexie, Luke B, Luke Z, Neive, Ollie, Sam G, Samuel T, Simar, Thomas and Xander. Thank you also to Mr McClure and Mr Nicoll for managing the teams, to parents for coming along to watch and Miss Harding and Mrs Barnes for attending with the children. The children were notable for their excellent behaviour, representing Holy Trinity in superb fashion.

Eco Warriors and Gardening Club News
Our Eco Warriers and the Gardening Club have joined forces to begin the transformation of a plot at the end of the school field in to an allotment! This project is being ably supervised by Mrs Patel, Mum of Savan and Pasha, who also looks after our Spiritual Garden with the help of Mrs Hunt and Miss Harding. Seedlings are already starting to sprout and lots of activity has been taking place to get the allotment underway!

Is My Child Too Ill for School?
This article on the NHS website provides some useful advice on this topic which we thought you might find helpful.
The Sleep Charity
Sleep is essential to brain function; by helping children to sleep better, we can help them to succeed in school. At any given time up to 40% of adults and 50% of children (this rises to 80% with a SEND diagnosis) have difficulties with their sleep. Yet in a recent survey, almost 60% of adults felt there was a lack of support for sleep issues. Sleep problems can leave people feeling isolated and lonely.
Our free helpline is run by trained sleep advisors, many of whom are specialists in working with SEND. We can talk to young people directly, or parents (we can also talk to adults, including older people, about their sleep issues).
The helpline is open 5 times a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday evenings 7-9pm, and Monday, Wednesday mornings 9-11am. The number is 03303 530 541.
