Silver Games Mark

We’ve done it again!

We are really pleased to share the fabulous news that we have achieved the sport accreditation of a Games Mark for the second year running.

The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and onto the community. 

From Bronze to Silver

Teachers and children have worked really hard with sport throughout the school; both during school hours and out of them. We have participated in many competitions within the school and with other schools. Last year was the first time we had applied for the award and we received bronze. Thanks to the work done we have now have been rewarded this year with a silver award! Bring on gold next year!

Thank you to all the parents and staff who support the out of school competitions – the atmosphere is always improved with the great support we receive. 

Investors in Pupils Award

We are delighted to announce that the school community has achieved the 'Investors In Pupils' award, working at proficient level. This recognises the positive ethos and culture of our school where pupils' voice is valued, central and key to school life which demonstrates ambition for continued drive and improvement.

The five areas for consideration include;

• Learning Achievements, Behaviours and Attitudes
• Classroom Management
• Attendance 
• Induction of new pupils
