Newsletter 31 - 16th May 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

Our vision is for our pupils to flourish in an inclusive, inspirational place of learning where we are happy, respectful, kind and safe.

Y6 SATs

Well done to Y6 - SATs are all done. Thank you to the team for supporting them so brilliantly.

Class Photographs

Our school photographer is coming in on Monday to take class photos. Please make sure your child is in school uniform (winter or summer). If they have PE or a club on Monday, they need to bring their PE kit to change into.

Smartphone-Free Childhood Coffee Morning

This will be held in the school hall on Thursday 5th June 9 - 10.30am. You are all invited to join us! Mr Fletcher (Charters' Headteacher) will be giving a short presentation at 9am. If you'd like to find out more, it'd be wonderful to see you there. Do please email the office if you intend to join us.

Parent Tip

This week it's advice on the ever-popular game of Minecraft; one that I know many of our pupils enjoy.

Year 2 Class Assembly

Y2 parents are invited to join us in the school hall from drop off next Thursday for their class assembly. It will start at 9am.

Please do use the hall door on Church Road to come into school.

MUFTI day next Friday

PTA have a Eurovision themed Mufti day next Friday for a minimum donation of £2. Children are invited to dress in a Eurovision inspired outfit or their clothes of choice!

You can either send your child in with their donation or donate via ParentPay. Thank you!

End of half term

We finish next Friday at the normal pick-up time of 3.15pm to break up for half term week followed by an INSET day on 2nd June. Pupils will return on 3rd June.

Enjoy the weekend,

Mrs Griffith

Tyre Towers

Does anyone work in a car garage? Would you have any tyres going spare? We are looking for tyres for playtime use. Please contact the office if you can help!

Bike Maintenance

At lunchtimes, the children have been using our balance and pedal bikes. They are now in need of some maintenance. If you're able to help us out on this front, please contact the office. Thank you!

Parking

Once again, we have had a complaint from a local resident about parking inconsiderately and unsafely when dropping off/picking up. If you must drive to school, please only park in safe areas and certainly not on double yellow lines. The safety of your child and other children is being put at risk. Thank you for your co-operation with this request.
