Newsletter 10 - 14th November 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

SIAMS Inspection

Mr Andrew Wilcock visited on Monday to conduct the inspection. His report will be available for us to share with you in around three weeks. Thanks to the children, parents, Governors and staff who met the inspector on Monday – suffice to say I am a very proud Headteacher of our school!

Parents Consultation Meetings

Hopefully you have received an email prompting you to book a ten-minute slot to meet with your child’s teacher next week. Please be considerate of the ten-minute timing so that the meetings can run to time for everyone. Please contact the office if you haven’t received an email to book.

The meetings take place in the hall. Please come to the back hall door on Church Road.

Parent Talk with Dr. Hester Bancroft

If you would like to come along to hear Dr. Bancroft talk about how to build resilience in your child, please join us on Thursday 27th November at 7 – 8.30pm. Please register your place here.

Bottle MUFTI next Friday 21st November

In order to collect bottles for the Bottle Tombola at the Christmas Fair, we invite children to wear their own clothes next Friday in exchange for a donation of a bottle for the tombola. The bottles will be collected on the gate (or the Reception Class door). This is always a popular stall and a great fundraiser.

PTA Christmas Fair

Saturday 22nd November 12 – 3pm

There is always a great flurry of activity in the week leading up to our Fair. Thank you for all your donations so far – please check with your class rep for how you can help on the day too. We look forward to seeing you and your families there!

Christmas Nativity and Service

It feels too early to be thinking about Christmas, but I wanted to make sure you had these dates in your diary so that you can celebrate with us.

  • Reception Class Nativity performance for parents is 9.15am on Thursday 11th December in the school hall. We know this is a milestone in your family’s life! We limit the places to two per family so that we can accommodate you all. You will be able to film/take photos to share with your wider family.
  • KS1 Nativity performance for parents is 1.30pm on Monday 15th December or 9.15am on Tuesday 16th December in the school hall. Again, places are limited to two per family so that we can fit you all in the hall!
  • KS2 Christmas Carol Service is 6pm on Monday 15th December in Holy Trinity Church. We ask that the children come in their school uniform please.

Enjoy the weekend.

Mrs Griffith
