Welcome to the last newsletter of the school year.

End of Year Reports

Your child will have their school report with them at the end of the day today. Some parents may receive them via email too.

Year 6 SATS Results

A huge well done to the children for their amazing results – a lot of hard work and determination there. Thank you to all the staff team for their dedication too.

Year 6 Production

Another well done to Year 6 for their wonderful production yesterday – we loved it!

Our Reception Class Outdoor Area

Our Reception Outdoor has lots of lovely space but we would love to develop it further by adding a timber shelter near the ramp. This would allow us to enhance the area with more furniture and resources and allow the children to access their outdoor learning all year round, whatever the weather!

Great British Summer Savings

From 25 June to 1 September 2026, the Government is temporarily cutting VAT from 20% to 5% on children's meals in restaurants, children and family tickets to cinemas, theatres, concerts and exhibitions, and admission to a wide range of attractions. Combined with free bus travel during August for children aged 5 to 15 in England, families and young people will be able to enjoy experiences that make summer special, including visits to the kinds of cultural and educational attractions that enrich children's lives outside the classroom.

As part of this campaign, they have launched an attraction finder website which allows families to type in their postcode and find participating venues near them to make the most of summer savings. To use the attraction finder, please visit https://summersavings.gov.uk.

Stars of the Week for w/e 17th July 2026

Well done to all of our Stars this week

Reception – All of Reception for a fantastic first year at school.

Year 1 – Esmae for having a fabulous year and being a true superstar.

Year 2 – Piper for the determination you have shown in year 2.

Year 3 – Ralph for amazing input and research on the trip to London Wetlands

Year 4 – All of Year 4 for their enthusiasm and efforts in the production. Your singing has been wonderful to listen to.

Year 5 - Zach P for making really great choices in all aspects of school life this term.

Year 6 - What a week Year 6! A fantastic production and amazing SATs results. We could not be prouder of you!

House of the Week
The House with the most house points this week is Earth! Well done Earth!

Young Fundraisers - Taking the Initiative 1!

On Sunday Cleo, Noelle and Yassy from Year 4 set up a little stall in Church Road and raised some money for the school. They sold homemade lemonade and bracelets as well as hair bands and bath bombs. The lemonade was a particular hit — both jugs sold out quickly! The children raised nearly £80 for our school! Thank you so much!

Young Fundraisers - Taking the Initiative 2!

On Wednesday, Austin, Bodhi, Halle and Krish from Year 4 set up a stall in the playground at home time selling their own beautiful origami creations in aid of our partner organisation Child Action Lanka. They raised over £50.
