Newsletter 6 - 9th October 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

Harvest

Many thanks for your generous donations for our Harvest Service. All donations have gone to Sunningdale Food Bank for distribution. Thank you to Reverend Jon for leading our service this week.

Pre-loved Dressing Up Costumes

If you have any that your children have outgrown, please bring them into the office where they are being collected to sell on Friday 16th October.

We are not able to sell pre-loved school uniform on that day as previously advertised.

Top Tips

This week is all about building your child’s emotional resilience. It dovetails perfectly into the emotion coaching approach we use in school (you can read more about that here). If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Athlete in School

Next Tuesday (13th October) we will be welcoming Judo champ Luke Davies! All classes will take part in a series of 4 fitness challenges followed by a motivational assembly. All children need to be in PE Kit on Tuesday please.

The sponsor form has come home with your child – please send it in by Tuesday 20th October or set up an online fundraising page or make your contribution directly here.

Funds raised will be shared with Great Athletes and used for new sports equipment in school.

Parent Governor Vote

If you haven’t already done so, please click on the link here to vote before next Tuesday. Thank you!

Field Shoes and Coats

As the weather is turning, please do send your child in with their change of shoes for the field (wellies or trainers). This means they can still make use of the field and not ruin their school shoes or the floors in school!

Also send your child with a coat please – all items named clearly!

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Griffith
