Newsletter 5 - 2nd October 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

Harvest

As you know, we are not able to invite parents to join us in our Harvest Service this year due to space constraints. Reverand Jon is hopeful that we will be able to use the newly renovated church for our Christmas Service, so we look forward to that!

Please send your donations of harvest good in with your child on Wednesday 7th October. Thank you in advance for supporting our local foodbanks and families in need.

PTA Events

Please do take a look at the planned events for this year.  The PTA page of the website has more information regarding PTA.

The PTA would like to sell pre-loved Halloween or general dressing up costumes. Do you have any to donate? If so please bring them into the school office and you will be able to browse the sale of these items after school on  Friday 16th October.

Parent Governor Vacancy

If you haven’t yet voted for your choice of candidate, please click here to make your choice. The vote will close at midday on Tuesday 13th October.

Wishing you a lovely weekend,

Mrs Griffith

Children's Illnesses - See NHS Advice here

Please do not bring a child to school with a high temperature, even if this is controlled by paracetamol or ibuprofen.

If your child has a stomach upset, you must wait for 48 hours after the last incidence of sickness or diarrhoea before bringing them back to school, whatever you think the cause may be.  Stomach upsets spread very quickly in schools and can easily become out of control and difficult to manage.

If in doubt, the NHS has a very useful guide about when you should or shouldn't send your child to school. It's called 'Is My Child Too Ill For School?' and can be found here.
