Happy Sunday everybody!
Last week feels a bit of a blur as it was another very busy one! We are really settling in to the routines of Year 2 now, showing independence with changing our reading books, keeping our classroom tidy and showing brilliant growth mindsets.
We have been helping our Year 1 buddies on a Monday afternoon with ICT, making sure they know how to log on and complete tasks Mrs Rhodes has set them. Well done to all of Year 2, I'm proud of how you're all being such positive role models.
This week we are moving onto a new book in our topic, "Mr Wolf's Pancakes". This might involve eating a pancake or two along the way! I look forward to sharing all the photos from this learning with you. To finish our first book "Little Red Reading Hood" the children wrote some fabulous newspaper articles about the scandalous visit we had from that pesky Big Bad Wolf. I will try to upload these to a gallery for you all to see!
I look forward to seeing you all over the next 2 weeks for our virtual meetings.
