Friday 27th March
Hola chicos y chicas!
I received a very lovely email today from Samuel and his family - it put a smile on my face to see the fun you're having at home and hear about the learning activities you're doing. It was also nice to see that you are keeping in touch with each other, something that is really important.
I have put a Science challenge on our page today, linked to habitats. You may choose to start this today or next week (or not at all!) but I would love to see photos of completed work. There is also some instructions to make a den, if you're lucky enough to have your own garden you could maybe build it outside?
Unfortunately I haven't felt very well today so I spent most of the day resting and watching movies with Millie. We did have a game of 'Game of Life' - have you played any board games this week?
Thursday 26th March
I really hope you are all feeling well and are enjoying learning and playing at home. I spent Tuesday in school and it felt very strange being there without you all!
I have uploaded a new link to a drawing activity that you can have a go at if you fancy - a new one will be uploaded today at 10am so go to the 'Art Activities' area of our page to have a look. Feel free to email me a picture of any of the artwork you produce and I can share it with the class on here. Or if you would like to send me an email to let me know what you've been up to I'd love to hear from you.
Keep working hard but make sure to play even harder!

Wednesday 25th March
Good morning class 2
How lucky are we getting with this glorious sunshine. Try to make the most of it and spend lots of time outside in your gardens if possible.
I can see some of you have been on Bug Club already this week so well done! Remember to click the bugs and answer the questions.
I have set a few 2-dos on purple mash. Have a go and make sure to hand in the work, I will send you feedback.
Parents - please don't stress about getting everything done! It really doesn't matter as we have got plenty of time to go over things. Enjoy family time and have fun.
Dear Class 2,
I hope you all have had a good weekend and are ready to learn from home. I have attached a curriculum grid with some ideas for you to complete at home. This is by no means a MUST complete list - simply ideas if you would like some structure to your week.
A good start to the day would be getting the children moving with Joe Wicks at 9am for 30 mins on his Body Coach YOUTUBE channel. Reading and maths fluency is important so try and do 15 minutes of each daily. Involve the children in cleaning, cooking, gardening. It's all learning!
Maths: Our maths focus for this week would have been to start SHAPE. Please complete a 2d and 3d shape hunt around your house and garden - how many different shapes can you find? Take a look at the videos below and then complete the 3 tasks set on Mathletics. You will find the powerpoint below for this week, you can use this to help you complete some of the shape section in your maths booklets that were given out last week.
Reading: Please log on to Bug club and choose a book to complete today. Remember to answer the questions on each bug!
Spellings: I have attached your weekly spellings below if you choose to accept the challenge of learning these! You can have a spelling challenge on a Friday at home and let me know how you got on.
Be kind to one another and stay safe!
