The Homework Page

READING at home is still very important in Upper Key Stage 2. I would recommend reading every night and reading to an adult at least once a week.

Due to the current situation with Covid and wanting to reduce the amount of things that move between home and school, children will not have a homework book. Homework will be set through this page and will mostly be set online using:

  • Purple Mash

  • Times Tables Rock Stars

  • Bug Club

  • Mathletics

  • Readiwriter (replacing Spellodrome)

*If you need any help with logins or have any issues accessing online learning platforms, please email Miss Cullen using the class email address.*

TOPIC HOMEWORK!

I know lots of you enjoy completing the topic homework. Like in previous years, please select one to complete each half term. However, please can you use photos, videos, Powerpoints, Word documents or Purple Mash to complete your chosen task. Once you have completed it, email it to Miss Cullen at year5@holytrinityprimary.org and we will share it with the class. Please get as creative as you like, but remember that at the moment, it cannot come into school with you. If you have any questions about this, then please ask Miss Cullen. Your topic grid is below.
