I have attached their timetable below. Have a great day. Stay safe and have fun!

Monday 20th April

Good morning 4W!

Hope you all had a lovely Easter and are managing to enjoy the lovely weather. Our topic for the summer term is Wild and Wonderful World so my challenge for you today is to have a go at the Art activity on this week's timetable attached below. I look forward to seeing your creations. You can now email me directly using year4w@holytrinityprimary.org.

Morning 4W! Hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine. How many of you went on a family bike ride? Had a BBQ? Had an ice lolly or ice cream? We've been so lucky with the weather haven't we? This week isn't forecast to be quite as nice but I've set you some fun home learning activities on the weekly timetable below to keep you busy so please have a look.

I have also attached the BBC Bitesize timetable for this week and I've suggested that you complete the English, Geography, science and music lessons from this. I would rather you didn't follow the BBC bitesize maths this week as they use different methods to how we learn in school and I don't want it to confuse you so I've set you separate maths this week (Attached to this week's folder).

Live Science Lesson

I've booked the class onto a live habitat exploration lesson on Thursday 30th April starting at 10.30  (More information to follow.) To prepare fully for the live lesson, please complete the  pre- lesson preparation booklet which is attached to this week's folder. If you come up with any scientific questions when completing the pre- lesson pack, then please email me your questions and I can send them to the teacher- you might even hear your question being read out during the live lesson.

I also wanted to let you know that John Lewis is running a competition to design your own superhero bear. The winning teddy will be sold in John Lewis and Waitrose shops later this year, with 100% of the profits going to the NHS. To find out more click here: https://www.johnlewis.com/content/your-partners-through-it-all/feel-good-friday

Have a great day and keep up the fantastic work!

Morning 4W!

Thank you again for sending me your work and photos. Remember that it's our turn to showcase our work in the newsletter this week so if you haven't sent me anything yet, then please use this email year4w@holytrinityprimary.org to do that.

So pleased that lots of you have started the pre -lesson booklet for the live science lesson on Thursday. Scroll down to this weeks folder and the booklet is in there along with this weeks timetable and the BBC bitesize timetable. Today, I would like you to have a go at the geography https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zjdm6v4 and english lessons https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zhgfy9q   I have set you separate maths work which is in this week's folder.

Have a lovely day!

Good morning 4W! Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I've set up a new folder with this week's timetable and activities below. Remember that this is a suggested timetable so please do not worry if you don't complete everything. I know some of you are finding other learning activities that interest you which is absolutely fine. My one wish is that you all try to read something everyday. I have set some new books on bug club so please take a look.

I have found another art activity that I think you'll all enjoy. Disney and Pixar are offering tutorials on how to draw characters.

Learn to draw different Disney characters

https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/topics/characters/page/2/

There is also an exciting competition challenging you to come up with a new sport or invention that makes an existing sport even better! Find out more here- https://www.theiet.org/membership/member-news/member-news-2020/ready-steady-invent-take-part-in-our-sports-of-the-future-competition/

Reminder- We have another live science lesson on Tuesday 5th at 9AM! Resources are in this week’s folder.

Lots to keep you busy. Have a great day 4W. I'm so proud of you all!

Morning 4W! I hope our message put a smile on your faces. Our live science lesson starts at 9AM this morning! In the lesson you will explore Arctic food chains and build an Arctic food web mobile. This is something that you might want to continue working on when the live lessons finishes. Try to have the live lesson handout with you to work on during the lesson. Remember there are also geography, English and maths lessons available on BBC Bitesize. I hope you enjoy the live lesson. Have a great day 4W and keep smiling!

This could be something you find online or you might want to create your own quote on the computer or on paper. It could be about learning, happiness, kindness, ... anything you like as long as it's positive.

Quote of the day from Rhys

Morning everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend. The sun is going to be shining for us this week so a good chance to try one of the outdoor learning activities and take your learning outside if you can. The suggested timetable is saved to this week's folder. Please continue to keep up regular reading on Bug club, mathletics, times tables rock stars and spellodrome.  Remember you're all doing an amazing job and Mrs Puckett and I are very proud of you all. Keep sending me your work and photos- I love receiving them.

Well done to those of you who took part in the Rock Stars battle. We did really well but 4H ended up winning. Well done to them. I've set up another battle for this week against 4H again. Let's see if we can take the trophy this time. I believe you can do it!

I know how much you've all been enjoying the Rob Biddulph art lessons. Mrs Hallas sent me this today...

Friday 15th May

Quote of the day from Max

Happy Friday everyone! I spoke to Mrs Puckett today and saw her Grandson on video. He's adorable. She said to say hello to you all and that she can't wait to see you all soon!

I had an idea...Instead of me putting up quotes of the day, you could email me some of yours and I'll put them on the class page. This could be something you find online or you might want to create your own quote on the computer or on paper. It could be about learning, happiness, kindness, ... anything you like as long as it's positive.

Did you listen to chapter 1 of 'How to not go to school'? If you would like to have a go at reading another chapter then please email me your video/ audio and we can guess who is reading it. It'll be fun! Have a great day and weekend 4W. I'm so proud of you all and miss you lots!

Thursday 14th May

Morning everyone. Hope you had a good day yesterday and enjoyed the bitesize lessons. My picks for today are the English and maths lessons and the design technology lesson on how we build!

I wonder how many of you have read the ‘How to not go to school’ book that I attached to the weekly folder? Please scroll down below to hear someone reading the first chapter- I wonder who it could be? 🙋‍♀️ I had an idea that if you wanted to, you could email me an audio of you reading another chapter and we have to guess who it is. Some are a lot longer than others so choose one that you feel comfortable reading. Happy reading and have a great day.
