Apologies this homework is late being set. IT issues!
The children have all settled back well into school based learning this week and it has been wonderful (if noisy!) seeing them together again. We have come to the end of our history unit on Prehistoric Britain with a lesson on the Roman invasion and Boudicca - the children wrote some rousing speeches to inspire their celtic tribe going into battle against the Romans!
The weekly homework is below. A piece of topic homework is also due in on Monday and the choices are detailed in the attached document.
We have started our maths work on multiplication and division this week. To begin this unit, we have been looking at sharing and grouping objects into equal groups. We have also been recapping how multiplication facts can also be turned into division and addition facts. To consolidate our learning this week and continue work our the three times table, I have set some activities on Mathletics (5 in total).
We are still working on homophones. Please can the children complete the attached worksheet.
We have been learning about branching trees in computing. As the children will be able to explain, these are decision trees where you only have Yes or No answers. We also practised giving yes/no answers by playing alien guess who!
I have tasked the children with creating their own branching tree about fruit and/or vegetables on Purple Mash. We started this in class but I would like the children to complete their tree as part of their homework. Please note there is an example version on Purple Mash (the first 2Do) but the children can create their own using the second 2Do.
