ANAPHYLAXIS AWARENESS DAY
On Friday 20th May pupils and staff at the school wore all manner of orange (wigs, clothes, hairspray and even an inflatable orange suit!) in recognition of Anaphylaxis Awareness Day. We aim to support charities which are relevant to our children so many thanks to the Jones family for suggesting and organising the day.
Thanks to everyone who dressed up, baked wonderful cakes and made a big effort to make our school orange for the day.
Together we raised a grand total of £360!!!
MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING
Please come into school for a coffee and a chat on Friday 25th September 09:00 - 10:00am. This will help raise funds for a well known charity and provide an opportunity to chat with the Head Teacher about moving the school forward and making a difference to children's learning.
PARENT FUNDRAISING FOR SCHOOL
One of our parents is raising funds for the school by cycling from London to Brighton. This is in recognition of how much support the school provides her family and son who lives with a severe and life threatening nut allergy. If you would like more information and want to sponsor Mrs. Jones you can click on the link below. All proceeds will go towards setting up a quiet and private medical room in the school. This will not only support her own child but many of the children who have long and short term illnesses in our school. Thank you and good luck Mrs. Jones.
WORLD DIABETES DAY
On Friday 13th November the school is raising the awareness of diabetes and how this affects children in school. Pupils can come into school wearing onesies or pyjamas and donate anything from £1 to raise money for this worthy cause. We hope you can join us!
